Volunteer at AHS – Orientation this Saturday!

We Need Volunteers. Just Like You.

The goal of our volunteer program is to engage compassionate animal lovers – just like you! We need you to help us in our mission to safeguard, rescue, shelter, heal, adopt and advocate for animals in need!   You must be at least 16 years of age, attend the required training for your area of interest and make a commitment of at least eight hours a month for at least eight months.   We have volunteer opportunities at all of our locations.   Our volunteers help us care for the animals and operate our programs in a variety of different areas, including:

Administrative Support	Public Clinics
Adoption and Socialization	Retail and Thrift Stores
Animal Admissions	Second Chance Animal Hospital™
Information Ambassadorship	Special Events & Projects

  To volunteer at one of our locations, your first step will be to attend a Shelter Volunteer Orientation.   To reserve your seat at one of the sessions listed below, fill out our application and email your completed application to volunteerapp@azhumane.org. We will respond to you within one week of your submission. Thank you!
