It's Wilbur's Time to Shine!

Wilbur came to AHS after our EAMTs received a call for suspected animal cruelty. He was nearly 5 pounds underweight (very extreme for a Chihuahua), severely dehydrated, malnourished, and simply skin and bones. Wilbur was taken in by AHS Foster Hero Ski, who gave him the love and care he needed to heal and put on weight for two months. He is now ready to go up for adoption and be the family dog he was meant to be! Ski wasn't the only one to notice Wilbur's superstar potential... our theatre friends knew that this pup was meant for the stage! The Almost Famous Theatre Company is partnering with AHS to find loving homes for Arizona’s most adorable adoptable pets! Come and meet Wilbur when he takes the stage to star in the comedic performance of The Supporting Cast from Thursday, May 11 to Sunday, May 14, 2017. At each show, raffle tickets will be collected for Wilbur’s possible adoption and a name will be drawn on Monday, May 15, 2017. Showtimes Thursday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 13 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 14 at 4 p.m. About The Supporting Cast The Supporting Cast is a comedy about the people who support you in life! It is a Mother’s Day gift wrapped in a hilarious package. Plot: Ellen, the wife of a successful author, has written a book about friends who are spouses of celebrities and what it is like to be married to Somebody Famous. She has invited them to her Malibu beach house to let them read advance copies and break the news to them gently that they are depicted in the book warts and all. Hilarity abounds as friendships are put to the test. Bring your posse, entourage or your own “supporting cast” to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend.
