Olive came to AHS with a horrible case of mange, a skin disease caused by tiny mites on dogs. Her case was so bad that all that could be seen was her skin. She was very uncomfortable and preferred to lie down in one spot, moving as little as possible.
Olive was taken in by AHS Foster Hero Ski, who gave her the love and care she needed to heal in a comfortable environment. It didn't take long for Olive's beautiful fur to grow back and personality to shine through. In no time, she was playing with Ski's big dogs, small dogs, and even the cats!
Ski wasn't the only one to notice Olive's superstar potential... our theatre friends knew that this girl was meant for the stage! The Almost Famous Theatre Company is partnering with AHS to find loving homes for Arizona’s most adorable adoptable pets! Come and meet Olive when she takes the stage to star in the comedic drama performance of Laughter on the 23rd Floor from March 16-19. At each show, raffle tickets will be collected for Olive’s possible adoption and a name will be drawn on Monday, March 20.

About Laughter on the 23rd Floor
Inspired by the playwright’s youthful experience as a staff writer on Sid Caesar’s Your Show of Shows, with all the attendant comic drama as the harried writing staff frantically scrambles to top each other with gags while competing for the attention of star madman “Max Prince.” Before Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Amy Schumer, men had dibs on comedy writing. Enjoy some laughs and a birds eye view into the man cave of comedy.
