Transformation Tuesday: Buttons
Talk about a transformation!
Buttons, a ten-year-old Silky Terrier mix, was rescued by AHS EAMTs™ on June 27th. When Buttons was found, her coat was very matted and covered in filth. Needless to say, this poor pup was in desperate need of a groom.
Along with the many lifesaving programs and services AHS has to offer, AHS’ Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital™ is dedicated to providing care for animals with nowhere else to turn. Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital™ Pet Groomer and Docent Volunteer, Lisa, took this pup under her wing and transformed her into a whole new dog, relieving her of her painful mats and unmanaged coat. Along with the grooming Buttons received, she also underwent multiple surgeries and had three masses removed, was spayed, had a dental cleaning performed with multiple extractions, and was vaccinated. Through the mats and fur revealed an adorable, happy girl with so much love to give. Buttons is an energetic bundle of joy who loves to curl up in laps and get lots of affection. She is quite playful and is sure to put a smile on your face. Buttons is currently awaiting her fur-ever home at AHS' Sunnyslope Campus. [one_half]
