Talk about a transformation!

Abby, a 3-year-old Miniature Poodle mix, and Jazzy, a 5-month-old Miniature Poodle mix were discovered by a Good Samaritan, lost and scared, running down the middle of the street together.

Abby and Jazzy had very dirty, unmanaged fur which covered their eyes, making it difficult for them to see. Needless to say, these poor pups were in desperate need of grooming. Along with the many lifesaving programs and services AHS has to offer, AHS’ Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital is dedicated to providing care for animals with nowhere else to turn. Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital Pet Groomer and Docent Volunteer, Lisa, took these pups under her wing and transformed them into whole new dogs. Along with their grooming, both pups were vaccinated, spayed and treated for ticks. Additionally, Jazzy had cherry eye removal surgery and Abby received a dental cleaning.  Through the matted and dirty fur, revealed charming, sweet girls with so much love to give! Both Abby and Jazzy were adopted this past week and will spend the rest their time living the life they deserved all along in Phoenix, Arizona.
