Summer to Save Lives: Mona’s Rescue

When we found Mona, a loving English Bulldog, life was rough. However, thanks to the work of our Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™ and a wonderful Foster Hero family, she quickly improved. After a few weeks of special care she journeyed out into the world aboard our Waggin’ Wheels Mobile Adoption Vehicle and into the arms of a loving family.   Waggin’ Wheels is an adoption unit on wheels that gives us the ability to bring the joy of pets all over town to unique events, active adult communities, outlying areas without adoption centers and other individuals who may not have easy access to our shelters. When our pets arrive, it’s impossible not to fall in love and take them home, and we expect Waggin’ Wheels will help us adopt out hundreds of additional pets each year.   Help give a second chance to thousands of more pets just like Mona during during AHS’ Summer to Save Lives!
