Having trouble finding a summer activity your child will enjoy? Nothing screams fun like a day surrounded by animals!
Your child will love learning all about the joy pets bring us during
Camp Compassion — Where CHARACTER COUNTS! And this year we’re also introducing a
Summer Teen Leadership Intensive!
Camp Compassion is designed for children ages 8-12 and chronicles the shelter journey experienced by our animals. Campers will discuss how and why animals arrive at our shelter and then learn about other potential stops during an animal’s time with us, including our life-saving Second Chance Animal Hospital, behavior team, adoption centers and more.
The Teen Intensive is open to teens ages 13-16 and focuses on understanding the behavior and body language of the animals we care so deeply for.
Registration is $50 for a single day, a discounted rate of $135 for the three-day-week or a further discounted $250 for the full six-day, two-week session. All camp sessions run from 12:30-5:00 p.m. at our Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion.
