Shop at Safeway and Save Lives

  You can join our mission to save pets this summer by simply filling your grocery cart. During the month of July, the Arizona Humane Society and Safeway will partner to give second chances to animals with nowhere else to turn. Shoppers can make a donation at checkout at any Arizona Safeway store in support of AHS' Summer to Save Lives.   AHS represents the animal welfare community of the future, with a mission to make happy “after” stories for thousands of “before” pets. So, what’s the story between “before” and “after”? Harrowing rescue, cruelty investigation, advanced medical treatment, tender care, lots of love…and YOU. Your donations make happy endings come true. You put tails back where they belong and bring pets back from death’s door.   Shop at Safeway and ask your cashier to add any amount onto your bill or place your extra change in the donation bin by the register.
