If you were looking for an excuse to drink a beer during the hectic holiday season, here it is: PUPPIES! The homeless pets of AHS are thankful for these three breweries and one seasonal bar crawl who are dedicated to saving the lives of our community's most vulnerable pets. Bottoms up for the pups! Tuesday, November 27: Four Peaks Brewing Co.'s Holmberg Bound IPA Get your growlers ready… Holmberg Bound is back! John Holmberg of 98KUPD and Four Peaks Brewing Co. are joining forces once again to benefit the homeless pets of AHS with the return of the beloved brew. Holmberg Bound will hit taps on Tuesday, December 27 during the release party at Four Peaks' 8th Street location (1340 E. 8th St, Tempe, AZ 85281) from 6 - 8 p.m. There is not an entry fee for the event, and the first 200 attendees 21+ will receive a special edition beer glass! The brew will be available at select locations while supplies last and for Holmberg's Happy Ending comedy show. RSVP via Facebook!

Sunday, December 2: San Tan Brewing Company's Juicy Jack IPA Bring your pups and join us on the patio at The Vig Fillmore in Downtown Phoenix (606 N. 4th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85003) for a very merry brunch! This fun kickoff event will feature a live DJ, giveaways, and more from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Best of all, AHS will be on site with adoptable pups! During the month of December, for every pint of SanTan Brewing Company's Juicy Jack IPA that is purchased at participating Genuine Concepts locations, a portion of proceeds will be donated to the homeless pets of AHS. Friday, December 7: Scottsdale Beer Company's Puppy Kisses IPA Join us from 5 - 7 p.m. for the release of Scottsdale Beer Company's newest beer, Puppy Kisses IPA! This yummy brew will be available at Scottsdale Beer Company (8608 E. Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260) and about 30 local restaurants and bars while supplies last. Best of all, a portion of Puppy Kisses IPA's sales will go directly to AHS! These donations will help save more pets like the moms and their puppies in AHS' Mutternity Suites, which is where Kendrix, the brew's label model, was born in our shelter. Saturday, December 15: 12 Bars of Charity Join us from 2 - 6 p.m. for 12 Bars of Charity - Scottsdale, a daytime bar crawl that benefits your favorite local charity! For just $30, you will receive a shirt to represent the Arizona Humane Society and the Blue Team, free shuttle rides to and from bars in Old Town Scottsdale, countless drink specials, and a $10 donation to AHS!
