  Right now, Valley shelters are overflowing with kittens, cats, puppies and dogs who are all in need of their forever homes. At AHS alone, there are over 300 pets waiting to be adopted and now is the time to be a part of something big while saving the life of a homeless animal.   On Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4, PetSmart Charities® and ABC 15's Adopt-a-Pet weekend will feature adoption fees that are a fraction of the already reduced cost while the selection of adoptable pets will be plentiful ranging from small, fluffy and purebred to large, masculine and mixed breed.   Special Adoption Fees: $0 - cats, 6 months and older $25 - dogs, 1 year and older $50 - puppies under 1 year and kittens under 6 months Includes a free microchip!   Visit any of AHS' three adoption locations or view our gallery of pets now.
