Paws For Love and AHS’ Puppy Kissing Booth are Here!

The Arizona Humane Society is proud to partner with Safeway for Paws for Love, a campaign to recognize the importance of pets in our lives and prove that even the smallest gesture can go a long way in the life of a furry friend.   The Arizona Humane Society and Safeway have teamed up for the entire month of February to give shoppers the opportunity to support AHS and the thousands of animals we care for every year. Shoppers at all 113 Arizona Safeway locations will be able to donate upon checkout to the Arizona Humane Society’s lifesaving programs and services.   As part of this special campaign, AHS and Safeway will be hosting a puppy kissing booth on Friday, February 13^th from 3-6 p.m. at the Safeway store located at 810 East Glendale Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85020. Stop by, and for a donation of just $1, you can start your weekend off with a face full of adorable puppy kisses!   Best of all, all the dogs at the event will be available for adoption! Adoptions are first-come, first-served. Please arrive early and be sure to bring down your family and canine companions for a meet and greet. In the event that multiple approved adopters arrive at the same time, a drawing will be held to determine who will become the lucky forever family.   Paws for Love is our chance to show that neglected animals really aren’t neglected, that homelessness doesn’t equate to heartlessness, and that few things heal injuries quite as well as compassion.
