Raise Pet Safety Awareness

In honor of National Heat Awareness Day - May 24, 2013, AHS is holding a “No More Hot Dogs” poster contest to bring awareness to the dangers of leaving pets in hot cars. In the summer months, objects inside hot cars can reach more 200 degrees in just minutes making it deadly for our pets.   We have narrowed down the more than 100 entries to the top 10 and need your help to declare the winner! Please visit AHS' Facebook page to vote for your favorite posters with a "like" and their their family will be invited to take part in AHS’ weekly television show, Pets on Parade, the longest running TV show in Arizona! Entries are courtesy of kids ages 6 - 15 from the Starshine Academy and Apache Junction Boys and Girls Club.   Deadline for voting is end of day Sunday, June 2nd and winner will be announced on Monday, June 3rd.   Thank you to all of the kids who submitted posters to help protect our furry friends this summer.
