This 1.5-year-old Shar-pei/Coonhound mix was found by our Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™, chained up and left for dead in an abandoned lot in an alley, scared, cold and soaking wet after suffering through three days of rain with no shelter, water or food. After recovering in our Second Chance Animal Hospital™ and then with a compassionate foster hero, Squishy has a new “Dad,” the EAMT who rescued her.
Yukon
A 6-year-old Tabby, was rescued by the Phoenix Fire Department after getting stuck in the engine of a moving car. He was in severe pain from burns and bruising along his sides and was treated in AHS’ Second Chance Animal Hospital. As he healed, it wasn’t long before his foster mom noticed his love of attention and affection in the form of belly rubs and biscuit making, traits that carry on in his forever home.
When you make a lifesaving gift today, you help make happy endings come true for double the number of animals. A gift of $50 becomes $100 to help our EAMTs rescue more neglected dogs like Squishy. And $100 becomes $200 so our Second Chance Animal Hospital can save more injured cats like Yukon.
