FREE Pet Adoptions May 31 – June 1: Maddie’s® Pet Adoption Days

Ready for a new best friend? This weekend, the Arizona Humane Society is adopting out FREE PETS as part of Maddie's® Pet Adoption Days.   Maddie’s Adoption Days is America’s biggest free pet adoption event, and AHS will be one of more than 200 shelters and rescue groups in 14 communities across the country that will be participating in this amazing adoption special.   Because of the urgency to clear out shelters this season due to overcrowding, we are grateful that Maddie’s Fund is making it possible to offer the community free adoptions, even though these pets are invaluable!   Visit any of our four adoption locations and our matchmakers will help you find your perfect companion, just like Sidney or Blue.           All adoptions will include a free microchip and VCA Animal Hospitals will be on site at our Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion and Sunnyslope Campus to answer questions and provide resources to adopters to help ensure their new pets are on their way to a healthy start.   VCA will also provide a free follow-up veterinary exam offsite at one of their hospitals to all adopters. All of our amazing pets will also come vaccinated, spayed/neutered, with a collar and leash for dogs, a collar and pet carrier for cats, a bag of Hill's® Science Diet® food and 10 percent off at AHS retail locations.
