Ready to become a Foster Parent?

It is kitten and puppy season, and the Arizona Humane Society is in great need of foster homes for nearly 250 pets.

These pet's needs range from simple weight gain to kennel rest to overnight feedings. AHS provides all of the supplies and medical care, free to the foster parent. The length of foster cases can be as short as overnight for bottle baby kittens to a couple of weeks for animals with colds to month-long cases involving orthopedic cases. They can also range from just one animal to a litter or for those who want a rare and thrilling opportunity can even foster a mom and her 12 babies! Here are just a few of the 250 animals awaiting foster hero homes: [one_third] [caption id="attachment_32168" align="alignleft" width="300"]Athena and 12 puppies in need of foster parent Athena and her 12 puppies – foster for growth[/caption] [/one_third][one_third] [caption id="attachment_32169" align="alignleft" width="300"]kittens needing foster care Kittens and their mama - foster for growth[/caption] [/one_third][one_third_last] [caption id="attachment_32170" align="alignleft" width="300"]Gallagher, 10 years old – foster for a cold Gallagher, 10 years old – foster for a cold[/caption] [/one_third_last] Last year, 3,673 pets were cared for by our compassionate foster heroes.
