Dolly Ready to Find New Home at Compassion with Fashion

Written by: Kimberly Ring
thumbnailWhen Dolly was rescued by a Good Samaritan on the side of the road, she was unable to walk, suffering from several pelvic fractures. The 3-year-old Poodle mix was taken by our Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™ to our Second Chance Animal Hospital™, where our medical team determined that Dolly would need surgery to repair her injured Pelvis. Dolly is now recovering in a foster hero home, where she enjoys lounging around the couch and relaxing as she continues to recuperate in preparation for her special adoption day. Dolly will be one of more than a dozen adoptable dogs and cats hoping to find a new home and a lifetime of paradise at the 18th Annual Compassion with Fashion: Paws In Paradise luncheon and fashion show Sunday, April 3rd at the Phoenician. Join more than 1,000 guests who will indulge in a seated island feast, surf a silent auction filled with treasures and take in a splashin’ fashion show featuring Dolly and her adorable adoptable friends (*please note that adoptable animals are subject to change). Proceeds raised during Compassion with Fashion support the innovative programs and services that help AHS save the lives of thousands of homeless pets every single year. Individual tickets can be purchased for $175 and tables of 10 start at $1,750. Upgrade to our VIP experience and enjoy expedited registration, “snag-it-first” silent auction shopping, the first chance for puppy and kitten snuggles with Dolly and our other adoptable pets, the chance to meet AHS CEO Dr. Steven R. Hansen and Jeff Lazarus, the author of Dogtology, and a specialty cocktail. Compassion with Fashion: Paws in Paradise is an event where the sun will shine on pets in need just like Dolly.
