Kick-off the new year with some furry friends at CityCenter of CityNorth’s “Wild About Animals” Market on High Street. In addition to fresh fruits and vegetables, visitors to the Market on High Street may mingle with local artisans, jewelers and farmers while sampling delicious Arizona-made food products along the tree-lined streets.   Live music, dozens of free children’s activities and a chance to connect with the Arizona Humane Society (AHS) make the January 20 event the perfect way to start 2013.   Animal Lover Activities: January’s market also features AHS puppy adoptions, animal craft table for kids and a petting zoo. Visitors can take a picture with exotic pets, ride a zip line or purchase items from Petique (AHS' pet boutique) to raise funds for the Arizona Humane Society.   When: Sunday, January 20, 2013 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.   Where: 5415 High Street (Off Loop 101 at 56th St. and Deer Valley Dr.) Phoenix, Ariz. 85054   Wild About Animals Activities and Vendors
