Jack was picked up by AHS’ Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™ in January when he was just weeks old, suffering from a skull fracture, abscesses and a prolapsed eye. He was taken to our Second Chance Animal Hospital™ trauma center for homeless pets, where our vets tended to his injuries. Unfortunately, Jack’s eye was so severely damaged, that we were forced to surgically remove it. Once stabilized, Jack spent nearly two weeks recovering with one of our loving foster families before this playful pup eventually found a new, loving home.
Today, as we join hundreds of non-profits from across the state in celebrating Arizona Gives Day, a powerful 24-hour online giving experience that unites Arizonans around causes they believe in, we ask you to please help more pets like Jack find their happy ending by making a lifesaving gift online at the
Arizona Gives Day website. It cost nearly $1,000 to provide the necessary medical care to save Jack’s life and there are so many more pets just like him that need help. We can’t do it without you.
Please share Jack’s story with your friends and family and ask for their support as well. If we finish the day with the most donors or most money raised, AHS can win thousands of additional dollars to help even more injured and abused pets like Jack.
On behalf of Jack and each of the homeless pets that your gift will help save, thank you for opening your heart.
