This holiday season, to ensure that as many dogs, cats and critters as possible get to celebrate the new year in a new forever home, AHS is extending adoption hours to 7 p.m. at all locations December 13th through December 23rd.   We’ll be open longer so you have plenty of time to visit with loving pets like Xander, a 2-year-old Chow Chow who gets around great on just three legs, or Zoey, a 4-year-old Domestic Shorthair who loves to play with toy balls.   Can’t bring another animal into your home right now? Surely you have a friend or family member who is ready to adopt and would love nothing more than to receive the cutest gift under the tree this year. We’ll even be open on Christmas Eve day, December 24th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. so you can pick out your four-legged present just in time to turn your ordinary holiday celebration into a magical, unforgettable event.   Whether you’re ready to add to your own family or give the gift of life this year, help homeless pets like Domino and Zoey find a holiday home.
