Animal Science Unleashed

If your child is fascinated by the strange, wild, wiggly, gross and icky, then Animal Science Unleashed is for them. Stinky critters, slithering snakes and icky insects can all be pretty gross, which makes them all the more fun to interact with! Through observations and animal experiences, young scientists will learn about the gross gurgles, odors, and weird behaviors that make pets unique! Junior EAMT Academy

Let your child explore the world of AHS’ animal rescuers! Designed for teens who are interested in working as an animal first responder, students will practice field medicine techniques, learn how to use rescue equipment and interact with real-life Emergency Animal Medical Technicians (EAMTs™). Victory Vets

This fun, career-discovery program for teenage animal enthusiasts focuses on employment options within the veterinary field. Students will view live surgeries in our veterinary clinic and dissect organs to study animal anatomy and physiology. Additionally, students will learn first aid and triage medicine with AHS’ Emergency Animal Medical Technicians. Learn More    

Wild Wonders

Through compassion, preservation and conservation, we will save wildlife together! Students will see the dedication and time that is put into saving these precious lives by interacting and learning about wildlife, as well as learning of the importance of wild and domestic animal sanctuaries and rehabilitators. Join the Arizona Humane Society, Phoenix Herpetological Society, Wild at Heart and more, as we learn to preserve, coexist and keep our pets safe around our wild neighbors. Learn More  

Hoof N' Woof

Horses Help and the Arizona Humane Society are joining forces for the third year in a row to bring you an adventure-filled week full of horses, pets, educational activities, horseback riding and exciting games at Horses Helps' stables. Young animal lovers will horse-play around with dogs, horses, and furry friends of all sizes while learning about the basics of working with, interacting, and providing enrichment for animals!
