AHS Adoptions Now at PetSmart Scottsdale: 50% Off Adoptions This Friday – Sunday!

Join Us for the Grand Opening of Our Adoption Partnership with PetSmart in Scottsdale!

Thanks to our friends at PetSmart Charities, we are able to waive 50% off adoption fees for cats and dogs (7 months and older)! The Arizona Humane Society is teaming up with the PetSmart Scottsdale location in Old Town on Miller Road and Scottsdale Road. This partnership offers AHS an additional outlet to find forever homes for the more than 13,000 animals we place each year. The special will take place Friday, March 16 through Sunday, March 18, 2018. This celebration will kick off our pets' permanent residence at this location.

PetSmart Scottsdale 4380 N. Miller Road Scottsdale, AZ 85251 Driving Directions Daily, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Things to know before the adoption event:

• Be prepared to wait in line, possibly outside. Bring sunscreen and plenty of water for yourself, as well as water and booties for your dog if you bring him or her along to meet potential new furmily members.
• Check pet requirements: If you have a specific pet in mind, please check their requirements regarding dog or child intros before coming to meet them. All adoptable pets can be found at azhumane.org/adopt and can be filtered by location (select PetSmart at Old Town Scottsdale).
• Limit two meet n' greets per household. We want to make sure that everyone has a chance to meet our adoptable pets! If interested in more, we kindly ask that you go to the end of the line.
• Limit two adoptions per household.
• We cannot hold pets. Adoptions are first come, first served.
• For dogs: Must have or purchase appropriate leash and collar at time of adoption.
• For cats: Must have or purchase appropriate carrier at time of adoption. $5 cat boxes are available for purchase.
